Reggie Jackson joined the Kansas City A’s in 1967 and moved with A’s to Oakland in 1968. He played 21 years and had 581 HRs, with the A’s, Orioles, Yankees, and Angels. He was the AL’s MVP in 1973 and World Series MVP in both 1973 and 1977. The all-time slugging leader (.755) in 4 World Series, he was nicknamed “Mr. October” for clutch-hitting in World Series and league championships.

Inducted into the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
